Eli Bremer swims to a seventh-place finish in the 200-meter freestyle portion of the Olympic men’s modern pentathlon with a time of 2 minutes, 2.80 seconds Aug. 21 in Beijing. Bremer, 30, of Colorado Springs, Colo., eventually finished 23rd in the five-sports-in-one-day event that includes pistol shooting, fencing, swimming, equestrian riding and cross-country running.
